Knights and Princesses

Hannah has spent a great Easter holiday week at the Thornhill Centre Holiday Bible Club. The theme this time was 'Knights', so there were some great costumes being worn by the kids.

Below is a photo of Hannah and her friend (also called Hannah) dressed up in their princess costumes. They don't look like they need any Knights in shining armour to come and rescue them!

A new baby cousin!

Uncle Mike & Auntie Jan have got a new addition to their house, in the shape of a gorgeous little girl called Bethan Ruth!

Congratulations to the Thomas family!

James is excited about having a new baby sister to play with!

Happy 4th Birthday, Hannah!

Hannah reached the magical age of 4 today, and was lucky enough to have two birthday parties to celebrate!

The first was held at the Thornhill Centre, and all of her nursery friends were invited to come along - plenty of bouncing on the bouncy castle, plenty of yummy food, plenty of silly games! And party bags with silly glasses in them!

Hannah's second party was a more relaxed affair, at Grandma and Grandad's house, with just family joining the party. Hannah even got to help make the cake for that party - she was determined that she wanted a Butterfly Cake (just like on Hi-5), so with Ruth's baking skills and Hannah's decorating skills, a delicious Butterfly Cake was hatched!

Hannah's number one present was a bike (thanks Grandma, Grandad, Nanny & Grumpy!), so it looks like we're going to be going on lots of rides this summer - if Thomas ever lets go of the back!

Hannah's biggest present was a giant inflatable ball (thanks Uncle Mike & Auntie Jan!) It was great fun playing with it in the garden, until a big gust of wind blew it straight over a neighbour's fence. Ooops!
Thankfully, the neighbour brought it round to Grandma and Grandad's the next day, so it wasn't lost forever!
