Bourton-on-the-Water

Ruth took the children to Bourton-on-the-Water today to meet up with Uncle Mike, Auntie Jan, James and Bethan who were at Supergang camp this week. We're hoping that Hannah will be brave enough to go to the camp next year on her own, so this was a quick trip to give her a taste of what to expect...

It seems like any excuse to meet up with her cousins is a good reason to go!

And here's Uncle Mike wondering if he could trade in a landrover for one of these cars.

Hannah, always the environmentalist, has her eye on something a bit greener!

Happy 35th Birthday, Daddy

After the huge celebrations yesterday, for Grandad's 70th, Daddy's 35th birthday celebration were (thankfully!) half as busy! There was a delicious lemon cake to eat...

The police were on hand to deal with any gate-crashers...

And, there was even a Happy Birthday poster for me, too!

Happy 70th Birthday, Grandad

It was Grandad's (Ruth's Dad's) 70th birthday this July, and a huge family and friends gathering was organised at his house to celebrate in style.

Thankfully, the sun shone which meant that lots of the festivities could overflow into the garden, which made it a lot less noisier with so many children invited! The cameramen and women had lots of fun trying to take a photo of all of the 'next generation' of children that were at the party! Here's one of our (many!) attempts - it's impossible to keep them all still, in one place, and looking happy at the same time!

Hannah and Chloe were the 'hostesses with the mostesses' at the party. I do hope they didn't spike the drinks!

Inside the house was a fantastic poster, created by Uncle Tim and Auntie Abby, showing all the different things that Grandad is interested in.

The children had a go at making their own poster, too, but Will got a bit carried away with the stickers!
