Granny and Grandad kindly offered to babysit the children for the weekend, so Ruth and I skedaddled out of there and headed for a weekend break in Cirencester.
It was incredibly peaceful, and very relaxing. And I'm sure that the children missed us, even if they did have pancakes for breakfast!
