I wonder how much it would cost to mail this parcel to Australia?
News from the Hurley Home in Cardiff
(Probably incredibly boring if you don't know us... and marginally boring if you do!)
We woke up to a heap of snow this morning. It didn't half confuse our cherry blossom tree, which only just recently started flowering!
We wasted no time in getting outside and trying to build a bigger snowman than our next door neighbours. They've won everytime up until now, so we had to plan big! But, Thomas was determined that he wasn't going anywhere until he was fully insulated!
The snowman turned out to be a whopper. Daddy almost broke his back trying to lift the head on!
But, did we win? Well, our snowman was bigger than any next door, but they were just showing off and made two giant snowmen! We'll win next time!
Our snowman died a graceful death as the weather warmed up again (much to the cherry blossom tree's delight!) - although it does look like Mr Snowman has been stabbed to death by a flower!
We've had a great time this week, staying in the Norfolk holiday cottage that we rented, even though the weather hasn't been brilliant.
As well as partying for Mum's birthday, we've been to a Play Barn, Sea-Life Centre, and on lots of muddy walks!
Here is a photo of Fairy Hannah practising her magic dance!
And here, Farmer Hannah and Farmer Thomas are having races around the cottage garden in their tractors.
Driving seemed to be a theme for our holiday... I'm glad it's at least another 13 years before Hannah can apply for a driving licence!
On one of our muddy walks, Thomas seems to be sinking slowly into the mud! Luckily he manages to keep his footing...
Unfortunately, Cousin Anya wasn't so lucky, and this photo shows the after effects of her sit down in the biggest, muddiest, stickiest, wettest puddle that we came across on our walk. She knows how to choose them!

Mummy had an extra special birthday this year, as we spent it whilst on holiday in Norwich.
We needed to leave lots of our suitcases behind, in order to fit all of the presents that she took with her, but we managed to arrive safely on the Saturday, ready for the party on the Sunday!
We were staying in a cottage near Uncle Tim, Auntie Abby, Chloe and Anya's house, so they all came around on the Sunday to join the fun.
They even brought a fantastic home-made jelly island cake, which tasted as delicious as it looks!
The noise of the cupboard door should have made us go to see what was up.
The unusual quietness coming from the kitchen should have made us go to see what was up.
The rustle of a cereal packet in the middle of the afternoon should have made us go to see what was up.
Unfortunately, we didn't go to investigate until we heard the patter-patter of cereal falling into a bowl, and then onto a table, and then onto the floor!
I guess Thomas was just feeling hungry!
After Nanny's 'Big Bash' last year for her 60th, the celebrations this year were much more peaceful and relaxing!
A quiet (or as quiet as it gets with three small children running around) meal at our house, complete with required cake and candles, was enjoyed by everyone.

Even Uncle Mike enjoyed the party, but he fell asleep, bless him, because he'd just a couple of hours ago had some wisdom teeth taken out, so he was still drugged up!
